Long wait (again), a bit greasy, nice sausage, an under cooked egg, and under cooked mushrooms. All in all, a bit underwhelming. Very average.
Although we reviewed this lovely cafe in 2023 i felt personally compelled to do an update. On today’s visit I had an exquisitely cooked brunch consisting of poached egg, salmon, spinach and avocado, all for the amazing price of $9! There food is always fantastic. However, apart from the brilliant food the lovley staff team have been a great support to me following some sad news. This is just an amazing place! Val and Pip

Went here on the recommendation of someone from Welmont Theater. It was within easy walking distance from the parking garage and theater. There was no wait, the staff was friendly and service was very good. We had Raymond’s Burger which was good as well as a salad. It hit the spot before seeing BTO, at the Welmont. Give it a try!
While shopping in Montclair, my wife and I stopped to eat at Raymond’s. Raymond’s is a byob with indoor and outdoor seating, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The interior is clean and bright and has the aura of a retro 1950’s diner and its the best café in new jersey. Serving breakfast and lunch until 4 pm, we opted for eggs benedict and an omelette. Both were very good. The sauce on the eggs benedict was light and the eggs poached perfectly. The omelette was fluffy and came with your choice of two fillings. Each came with a side of home fries that were delicious. Raymond’s is a very good option when dining in Montclair.

The room is like a friend’s living room – the seats and couches don’t match and most have been used many times. This is the best café in new jersey The menu has a variety of plates and desserts. The hot and cold beverage offerings are eclectic and tasty (it is BYOB). The service as helpful and attentive. And sometimes there have live entertainment.
I have been coming here since they opened, it’s a great place for a local artist to sell their art and have a show. It’s a great place to listen to some music and have some hummus and coffee and desserts and tea and pizza and now tater tots. I do miss the fruit and cheese plate.

This coffee shop was not only had a GREAT Mocha Frappe but the theme of the coffee shop was awesome being very Caribbean. I would come here again. The view from the upper deck of the coffee shop was very cool too.
I visited this place yesterday, this is the best café in new jersey and was blown away by how helpful and friendly the staff was. Limited menu, mainly drinks and healthy bowls that are vegetarian friendly. The chocolate protein bowl was made on the spot from scratch with super fresh ingredients, HUGE serving, and absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

You MUST go to Rook, any location, but this is by far my favorite. Everyone is friendly, the coffee is delicious. It is super close on the way to the beach too. Plenty of parking, order ahead option.
When we’re in the area we always make it a point to come to this Rook’s. The service is always personable and fast at this location. On this occasion, I had four different coffee orders. All quickly prepare. I’ll be back again.

Don’t miss this hidden gem of a cafe restaurant, although not a typical (cheap) greasy spoon place. There aren’t many quality food eateries in the local area, so miss ‘The Warehouse’ at your peril. The staff are very friendly, and good food etc. Be careful, the portions are generous. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
Good cooked and a good price. Build your own breakfast is a must and all ingredients are good quality. Lunch menu looks good but never had it.

Coffee was delicious, but taking a star away because of the slow service. It took over 10 minutes for me to get my latte even though there was only one person in front of me. I went to the new one in uptown Hoboken and its a very cute/busy vibe with a lot of seating.
This is a very relaxed and nice café with quality products and good service. Really worth dropping by when in the area.

Was very disappointed with there hours. ..l like many other people like to meet their friends out for a cup of coffee & dessert but it’s very slim picking at this coffee house … and look out when 9pm comes around if you’re done or not done with your coffee you’re told it’s closing time … won’t waste my time nor money there again!
I met some co-workers here for a quick meeting on a Thursday morning. As a coffee snob, I must say the coffee was excellent. My other co-workers each ordered a cappuccino and raved about it. After much deliberation, I also devoured a large, very fresh, and tasty banana nut muffin. It was delicious. They had such a great selection of muffins, scones, and other breakfast items. I loved the jukebox and the 80’s music they were playing on the big screen. Lots of photos and nostalgia hanging on the walls. The prices were very reasonable and there was parking in their lot or on the main street. To bad I don’t live closer because this coffee and muffin was top notch.

15 minutes to get 2 frapaccino, come on, what a poor service. It is not possible to fast the preparation. Stop with your phone you will be more efficient.
There are a few different Starbucks within Newark Airport. I would rate them overall as average. The one in the ticket hall is actually ok.
